The awesome thing about pegboards is how easy they make sorting and organizing your tools. The not-so-awesome thing about pegboards is how they're nailed to the wall. This DIY pegboard cart let's you bring the organization with you.
Over at the DIY tutorial site Instructables, user Sensoryhouse wanted a rolling cart with pegboard to organize his tools. He frequently found that because he had so many tools and they were tucked away in drawers or not with him, he used less suitable tools for the job simply because he forget he owned the better ones. Commercially produced carts would run him several hundred dollars, so he opted to make his own.
The best part about the project is that not only are you flexing your DIY skills in the process of building it—metal working and welding to name a couple—but you'll end up with a final project that makes future DIY projects more enjoyable. Even if you're a bit gun shy about welding, give his tutorial a read through. He decided to build the cart as a way to teach himself to weld and recommends it as a great way for others to learn to weld, but you could adapt his basic design and use bolts instead.
