    Arriving from Egypt in the north by ferry, Wadi Halfa is the Sudanese border-town that welcomes all those who do not fly.

    Recent construction of many tarmaced roads have vastly increased the speed in which one can travel south into Sudan itself, with regular bus services traveling to Dongola, and direct to Khartoum.
