Here is potentially the first “Mobile Web User Report” of 2011, featuring in-depth responses from almost 2,000 people in Germany and the UK. The report, which was created by the guys over at MRM Worldwide, provides an interactive dashboard to help you deep dive into the stats, however you will have to register (for free) to get in!
To give you a taste, here are a few of the stats: The are 741 million mobile subscribers in Europe, with over 25% having 3G internet access, spending over 2 hours per week online via their mobile phone, but only 33% have smartphones. And a killer stat is that 65% of those web mobile users have never used a location based service, or even Augmented Reality… Get the report here.

These are very Noticeable results to our friends in Europe. Not only do we see a trend there but here in the US as well. With the increase of bandwidth and the availability of 4G networks we will definitely see a GREATER increase of mobile web users across Europe and USA. I wonder what brand/s will take advantage of these emerging mobile users?
