This review is from: Sunshine (DVD)
So, (spoiler alert) the sun is going out and the people on the spaceship are going to restart it and save the earth. They have a lot of challenges to overcome like in any movie, and then they overcome them. But here's the thing about the movie that you won't believe: no one ever looks really serious and says "It's daylight saving time."Not one character. No one says "It's daylight saving time." In the entire movie. I know you don't think it's possible, but if you watch it you'll feel like you wasted 4 hours of your life (time moves slower when you're waiting for someone to deliver an amazing line). What were the writers thinking!?

This is the only review I needed, thank you good sir, for saving me anywhere from 1.97 to 12.49.

$1.97? Cheapest I got is $1.98, and let me tell you, that is unacceptable. I realize that the economy is in a state of constant flux, and due to monetary policies both domestically and foreign, the buying power of the dollar is on a decline. But, to make a long story short: I WANT MY GODDAMN PENNY!!!!

and I can't believe you're getting that many people approving your post. Really. 878 people found the review helpful...for a really bad pun?

I cannot believe the numbers, either, especially since the review consists solely of a pun and has nothing whatsoever to do with the film. There must be something else going on here, though it is possible that there are 878 morons and counting.

"What were the writers thinking!?" is exactly what was going through my mind during most of this movie.

Agreed. Being an unfunny toolbag is now a popular thing, I guess. I suppose the popularity of banal shows on TV is a good indicator of the falling standards in comedic quality.
