Samsung’s new top-of-the-line LCD is now available in South Korea, bringing a 75-inch diagonal and an impossibly thin bezel into the hands of a lucky buyer with a thick wallet.
The ES9000 has a 7.9mm bezel, Samsung’s Diamond Black Panel which should bring big improvements in clearness, contrast and brightness, and an array of smart TV features.
The TV is also equipped with a webcam, which is used for video conferencing, face recognition and Samsung’s recently introduced gesture control system.
The price for this beauty is ₩19.8 million in Korea, which translates to about $17,443.

please let me buy a little toy too.. http://www.gofundme.com/thsrc
so nice
@Samsung: the new LCD you just released looks awesome. Samsung is a company that never ceases to surprise me. Sadly, I wont be able to afford the a $17K TV for the next 10 years of my life
Harrods used to sell 32″ Plasma’s for twice that price years ago…times change…this tv will be $1000 soon enough
If she is a TV, she had me fooled.
It’s still cheaper than most cars…
Holy…
Whats the resolution?
I hope its still not Full HD at that size..
Money shouldn’t be an issue, just sell a kidney and a piece of your liver for it.
and than You die, and your wife and kids gonna enjoy their time ..:)
@Michael Hawes: I assume, it should be at least not less than 4k (Quad Full HD) everything less makes no sence at this size.
Now to find £11,000…
Never mind the TV, I can’t afford a house big enough!
I’d love to have that, but I’m sure Apple will find a way to ban it so that more Apple TV’s will sell instead.
Why would I buy this when I can get the 90 inch Sharp for $11,0000.00?
price will fall fast especially on tech, something between $8k I presume
Hum…this will pretty much cover my living room wall. But I like the girl on the left better.
Smart TV era has begun. Another new inclusion in it. Just one flaw – the cost. It is way too much. Hope it will come crashing down once other competitor companies enter into the market.

The TV is equipped with a push-up camera, means you can hide it when not in use. This webcam is useful for video conferencing, face recognition and Samsung’s recently introduced gesture control system….. http://bit.ly/MXMnM1
Nice 1 samsung but expensive.
That’s INSANE! I have the Mitsubishi 80″ DLP 3D TV and the picture quality on that is AMAZING! It’s the same technology they use in the theaters now and the 3D is the best! The price tag on the Samsung is WAY out of line considering how a Samsung 42″ goes for about $499 now for LCD so if you multiplied that by 6 which would cover about the same screen size space the price should be around 3 grand not anywhere near $17,400!!! The DLP’s are GREAT and don’t take up much space either. Mine is less than 9″ deep and weighs less than 100 pounds. Not to mention if you want smart TV just add the new smart web enabled Bluray player, you get the same features for a LOT less!
Love it…enough said.
