Sudanese Elections

    A man puts up a poster for the regional candidate of the National Congress Party (NCP) ahead of the forthcoming Sudanese elections.

    These will be the first multi-party elections since 1986, although the run-up has been marred by announcements by major opposition parties that they will pull-out of certain regions. Voting will be held over three days (11th - 13th April 2010) .
