Recently I met extreme
adventurer Mike Horn (pictured here) who
defied nature in pushing the limits. Among his achievements:
circumnavigating the globe around the equator, trekking the Arctic,
flagging the tip of the North Pole. Now he sails the world in a
purpose-built yacht to clear rubbish in the oceans while getting
youths on board to conserve eco systems. Here's one man who
believes in making a difference, in his own way. And so can we.
We can perhaps start with

And Christmas shopping?
Instead of the usual, try something different, and creative. Like
buying gift items made of recycled materials or from sustainable
sources. When throwing parties,
prepare more locally-grown vegetables than meat.
